Heura vegetable burritos Vegetarian (meatless) recipes: vegetable heura burritos. Easy.

vegetable burrito

s filled with Heura (a super rich vegetable protein that you have for sale in many herbalists and some supermarkets), onion strips, red pepper strips, shiitake mushrooms (which I had in the fridge and they needed to be cooked urgently) and a vegan garlic herb mayo sauce. I used a sauce that I already had in the fridge, but here is the recipe. I also added a little fresh lettuce to add a little more moisture and freshness to the dish. TOP combination

The truth is that these are the richest vegetable burritos that I have marked to date, really. In fact, I made them yesterday for lunch and at dinner time we were already making them again. LOL. The good thing about this recipe is that it is extremely simple: sauté everything with a few spices and enjoy in bites. Super satiating, quite healthy and suitable for summer, winter, fall and any time of the year.

Vegetarian recipes (without meat): heura vegetable burritos. Easy. The burritos I have simply prepared with some wheat tortillas and, in this case, I have not passed them through the pan to toast it. I wanted them to be something more tender and soft, and for the crunchy protagonism to be had by the heura, which is basically the star of this dish. You will see that in this case there is no step-by-step photo of the recipe, because as I said, it was very improvised. But do not worry because it is very easy. I don't mess around anymore! But before starting with the recipe, just remind you that I am on Instagram and that there I share content that you will not see anywhere else, from interviews to video recipes. Let's go with the recipe! Heura vegetable burritos. Heura vegetable burritos Servings: 3 burritos Preparation time: 15 min Cooking time: 15 min Ingredients • Wheat tortillas for burritos • 1 box of Heura (so choose original or Mediterranean snacks) • 1 red pepper • 1 onion • 5 shiitake mushrooms • Olive oil • Sweet paprika • Garlic powder • Parsley • Salt • * Optional: vegan mayonnaise (recipe here)

Step by Step 1. If you are going to use frozen Heura, remove it from the freezer now. 2. First, we will chop the onion into strips, and place it in the pan, with a generous jet of olive oil. 3. We let it sauté over medium-low heat, stirring periodically. 4. Meanwhile, cut the red pepper and shiitake mushrooms into strips. 5. When the onion begins to be poached, add the pepper and the shiitake mushrooms. 6. Sauté until it begins to brown slightly. 7. Next, add the Heura and sauté it until it begins to toast very lightly. Make sure to do it for both parties. 8. When it is getting some color, add 2 small teaspoons of sweet paprika, 2 pinches of parsley, 3 pinches of garlic powder and two more pinches of salt. 9. We stir and make sure to brown it well, over medium heat, so that everything is sautéed with care. 10. When ready, remove and fill the burritos with the stir fry, chopped lettuce pieces and the mayonnaise sauce.
