RIDING IN THE RAIN IS FUN.
Riding in the rain can be misery or a blast. Riding in the rain with traffic is misery, Riding in the rain with half helmet or no helmet is misery (needles in the face), riding without rainsuit,,,,,MISERY.
My motorcycle is my only means of transportation, so I ride in ALL weather, ALL conditions.
I searched for a good rain suit that i could afford ( I work in a warehouse).
My first attempt at finding a rain suit was the FROGG TOGGS . They were under 20.00 and were "ok" for short rides but they tore easily putting them on.
Then i googled and read a zillion reviews, cipered thru all the haters and bsérs. I came up with Milwaukee Performance, ( I had previous with Milwaukee and it was good). The price was under $80.00 ( $74.99). My first choice was wayyy out of my range (just the jacket was over $400.00 for just the jacket. ( I don't even remember the name brand, ( it might just have been gore tex).
I had an opportunity to test this rain suit the first day i had it. There are zippers up both legs making it easy to get the pants on wearing boots. Leg zippers and jacket zipper is covered with Velcro rain flap. All in all a very good suit with highly reflective material at a very good price. The best part, it came in my size (4x).
